we had 17 players this past wednesday, 14 participating in the round robin event and 3 in the training session provided by tom spesick. welcome to new players jack sanchez and tyler spesick and good to see walt perkins again.

please remember to record your scores after each match. one match went un-recorded wednesday and as such was entered as 0-0. it, of course, behooves the winner of a match to make sure that his/her victory is recorded. 

thanks to club member ron mallory and kahl muscott of ard, effective monday 1/19/06, we will have monday evening table tennis. ron with the help of phil joffe will be heading up the program. there will be a sign-up sheet with playing fees of $3 and an open play format.

welcome to first time player and guest doug schulte. we hope he enjoyed the club and will return. also, welcome back to brian, whose work has kept him away for a few weeks.

we discussed what constitutes a legal serve and the need for all current players to be in compliance by 3/1/2006. it may be a difficult transition for some so start now so that greg (the enforcer) cehan won�t have to correct you come march.

greg winford continued his instructing and the club received good feedback on his efforts.

good sportsmanship requires that we start observing the following practices immediately:

 (1) do not pass behind a table while a point is in progress. 

 (2) return our tables to storage when we are the last match on that table.

 (3) wait for a game to end before passing behind with our table.
