welcome to new wednesday guest players, martha lysle and mark cary.

this monday evening, jian zhuang (jz) will conduct a table tennis clinic. this will be a novice event lasting a little over an hour and will begin shortly after 7:00 pm. the initial group consists of stan seely, david kochenderfer, bob grittner and mark cary. the cost is $10 per person plus the usual monday night playing fee. jz is not only one of the best players in northern california but is a student of the game and will listen to your needs and provide help in whatever aspect of the game you wish. let me or j.z. know if you would like to participate in future clinics.

it is with thanks for their contributions to our club, that i announce the resignations of gerry mifsud and don straits from the steering committee. as you probably noticed that gerry and joe have been missing for the last several weeks. they both loved the game and playing with everyone. due to health reasons which were exaserbated by his all out playing style, gerry has concluded that he should back away. lee parker has volunteered to take up the roll gerry had as club secretary.

within the next few weeks bill kochenderfer will have a liability waiver that must be signed by all current and future players. it will be pretty much �boiler plate� in design and simply provide a level of protection against claims lodged against the officers, steering committee or fellow players of the auburn table tennis club.

no new players this week but it was good to see glenn johnson after many months.

thanks to jon saunders who single handedly set up all the tables this past wednesday.

there is a locked cabinet now for the storing of our nets and other supplies. the combination for the lock will be known by all the steering committee and the afore mentioned jon saunders.
