ATTC Annual Meeting – We held our annual meeting before the RR on 2/29. No changes in Club Officers, but we did add Ricky Pisanu to join Michael Carlson as our Club Orientation and Hospitality Directors and Tyler Spesick has been added to run the RR from time to time as needed. Round Robin results for 2/29/2012: Nice turnout of 23 players for the RR, so we went with groups of 6, 6, 6 & 5.

Group 1: Not all matches were able to be played, but Sam Seo goes 4-0 to win the group!

Group 2: Grant Connell goes 5-0 to sweep the group and move up to Table 1!

Group 3: No clear winner as Nikolai Zavastitsa, Chris Ziyalan and Kirk Gibson all go 4-1!

Group 4: Chris Pratt in his first ATTC visit in a while sweeps the group 4-0 to move up a table next week!

Round Robin results for 2/22/2012: 21 competitive players on hand for the RR, so we went with groups of 6, 5, 5 & 5.

Group 1: Sergey Tsvor and Matthew Blom each go 3-1, but Sergey wins the head to head match for the group win.

Group 2: Grant Connell, Dave Ganguly and Patrice Tournier all go 3-1, so no clear winner this week!

Group 3: George Yang wins the group 4-0 to get a shot at Table 2 next week!

Group 4: Tamara Chappell sweeps the group 4-0 to move up a table next week!

Highest ATTC Rating – Several ATTC regulars are enjoying their best rating ever at the club!  John Hanna, Matthew Blom, George Yang and Doug Vaughan are all at their highest ever ATTC rating after the 2/22 Round Robin! Congratulations!

Round Robin results for 2/15/2012: A big showing of 23 players, so we went with 3 groups of 6 and 1 group of 5. Welcome to both Eva Palocsay and Ruslan Verbetskiy joining us for their first visit to the ATTC!

Group 1: Sam Seo and Sergey Tsvor both go 4-0, but run out of time to play each other for the group win.

Group 2: Eva Palocsay and Tom Spesick battled it out for the group win, with Eva getting the deuce in the 5^th win to go 5-0 and win the table!

Group 3: Larry Scott wins the group 5-0 to move up a table next week!

Group 4: Mark Copeland, Tamara Chappell and Chamy Poveda all go 3-1, so no clear winner.

Round Robin results for 2/8/2012: A nice showing of 20 players, so we divided up into 4 groups of 5 each. First time in recent memory that every #1 seed went 4-0 and every #5 seed went 0-4!

Group 1: Sam Seo dominates the top group with a 4-0 night!

Group 2: John Hanna fights his way back to Table 1 with a 4-0 night!

Group 3: Chris Ziyalan wins the group 4-0 to move up next week!

Group 4: Doug Vaughan completes the night of sweeps, going 4-0 to win the group!

Want to be more involved in the Auburn Table Tennis Club or have some ideas you would like to see implemented? We have some ATTC administrative positions available. Club meeting tentatively scheduled for 6:00 pm before RR on February 29^th. Feel free to talk with me or Bill K. or shoot us an email if you’re interested.

Group 3: Another 3 way tie as Mike Martin, Mark Copeland and George Yang all go 3-1.

Group 3: Chamy Poveda gets the only sweep of the night, going 4-0 to get the group win and move up a table next week.

ATTC Player Profiles – I have started revamping the Player Profile area on our website to make it more current. If you would like to be included, please send me an email blurb telling a little about yourself and why you play table tennis or write something down for me. You can also send me a picture to use or I can take one at the club. If you are already on the profile page please review and let me know if you would like any updates.

Anyone needing to renew or sign up for USATT Membership, ATTC can save you a few dollars. Grab the membership form online at USATT website, http://www.usatt.org/membership/MembershipApplication.doc fill it out, and bring it to the club this Monday or Wednesday and give to Bill K. We can save 15% on the membership cost, and will have a few being mailed in late next week.
