Auburn Table Tennis Club 7^th Anniversary Celebration – Join us Monday May 7^th for a Pizza night and doubles round robin. I’ll put teams together from all of the entrants and we’ll also have some open play available. Free Pizza and Soda provided by ATTC. Normal playing rates apply.

Round Robin results for 4/25/2012: 18 players joined in the fun as we split into 3 groups of 6 each.

Group 1: Sergey Tsvor wins the group, going 4-0!

Group 2: Grant Connell sweeps the group 5-0 to get the win and a chance on Table 1!

Group 3: Mike Martin gets the win, going 4-1 like Kirk Gipson but Mike wins the head to head match!

2 months to go – in our twice annual “Best Record” and “Most Improved” categories. A minimum of 15 appearances is necessary to qualify, some players already have enough appearances. Awards given out to the top 3 positions in both categories are provided by JZ at tabletennisonly.com.

Sergey Tsvor 82%, currently leads in the Best Record with Sam Seo 77% and Tamara Chappell 61%,

George Yang +189, Jesse Hinton +176, Sergey Tsvor +111 and Chamy Poveda +109 are in the lead for Most Improved, but anything can happen in the 2 months! Check out the current standings in our Trends area and previous winners on our “Top Players Page”.

Round Robin results for 4/18/2012: Another night with 20 players in action in 4 groups with 5 players each. Welcome to the ATTC for the first time Richard Ma.

Group 1: Sam Seo wins the group, going 4-0 and only drops 1 game!

Group 2: Tom Spesick sweeps the group 4-0 to get the win and move up a table!

Group 3: No clear winner as Grant Connell, Larry Scott and Ricky Pisanu all go 3-1!

Group 4: George Yang also gets a sweep, going 4-0 to win the group!

Group 1: Bill Kochenderfer pulls out the win going 3-1,  and picking up 68 rating points!

Group 2: Patrice Tournier goes 4-0 and gets his shot at Table 1 next week!

Group 3: Nikolai Zavastitsa goes 4-0 to win the group and move up a table next week!

Group 4: Tamara Chappell also goes 4-0 and is the only #1 seed to win their group!

ATTC Coaching – The Auburn TT Club will now offer free coaching from ATTC volunteers on the second Monday of the month, starting on April 9^th, 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Regular fees apply. Please contact Tom S. if you have any questions. Next session is set for Monday May 14^th.

Round Robin results for 4/4/2012: 20 players ready for competition, so we split into 4 groups of 5 each. Welcome Greg Hummel to his first RR at the ATTC.

Group 1: Sergey Tsvor goes 4-0, without dropping a game, to win the group! Dave Ganguly picks up 60 rating points!

Group 2: Bill Kockenderfer goes 4-0 while Grant Connell grabs 46 points!

Group 3: Ricky Pisanu also goes 4-0 to win the group and move up a table next week!

Group 4: Mark Copeland completes the night of sweeps, going 4-0 to move up a table!
