Round Robin results for 5/302012: A pretty light turnout of only 11, so we split into groups of 5 & 6.

Group 1: Tom Spesick goes 4-0, to get the group win!

Group 2: Doug Vaughan goes 5-0 win the group and get a shot at Table 1 next week!

1 month to go – in our twice annual “Best Record” and “Most Improved” categories. A minimum of 15 appearances is necessary to qualify, some players already have enough appearances. Awards given out to the top 3 positions in both categories are provided by JZ at tabletennisonly.com.

Sergey Tsvor 84%, currently leads the Best Record category with Sam Seo 77% in 2nd and Tamara Chappell 59% in 3^rd with several others close behind.

Sergey Tsvor +132, Chamy Poveda +118 and  George Yang +100 are in the lead for Most Improved, but anything can happen in the last month! Check out the current standings in our Trends area and previous winners on our “Top Players Page”.

Hello ATTC players -

Auburn Table Tennis Club 7^th Anniversary Celebration – We had a great turnout and fun was had by all! A special night for everyone to enjoy the crazy addiction that most of us call a hobby! Special thanks to Bill Indreboe, Ron Mallory and Bill Kochenderfer for all of the help with acquiring the pizza and sodas and the setup of the facility!

In the doubles RR, Chamy Poveda and Bill Kochenderfer took top honors out of the 12 teams we put together! Congratulations!

Round Robin results for 5/9/2012: 16 participants, so we divided up into 3 groups of 6, 5 & 5.

Group 1: Sergey Tsvor goes 4-0, to win the group.

Group 2: No clear winner as Grant Connell, Larry Scott and Ricky Pisanu all go 3-1!

Group 3: Micah Chavez gets the sweep, going 4-0 to win the group!

I’ll put teams together from all of the entrants and we’ll also have some open play available. Free Pizza and Soda provided by ATTC. Normal playing rates apply. Doubles RR to start around 7:00 PM.
