Round Robin results for 5/29/2013: 2 groups playing, divided up into 6 & 5.

Group 1: Tom Spesick goes 5-0 to win the group!

Group 2: Tamara Chappell goes 4-0 to win the group and move up to table 1!

Round Robin results for 5/22/2013: 13 players on hand were split into groups of 4, 4 & 5.

A very rare occurrence as there was no clear winner in any group! At least a 3 way tie in every group!

Group winners move up a table the following week.

1 month to go – in our twice annual “Best Record” and “Most Improved” categories. A minimum of 15 appearances is necessary to qualify, some players already have enough appearances. Awards given out to the top 3 positions in both categories are provided by JZ at tabletennisonly.com.

Sergey Tsvor 82%, currently leads the Best Record category with Angel Soltero 61% in 2nd and Ricky Pisanu 59% in 3^rd with several others close behind.

Angel Soltero +288, Nikolai Zavastitsa +124 and  Grant Connell +47 are in the lead for Most Improved, but anything can happen in the last month! Check out the current standings in our Trends area and previous winners on our “Top Players Page”.

Hello ATTC players –

Auburn Table Tennis Club 8th Anniversary Celebration – We had a little smaller turnout, but everyone had a great time and plenty of pizza! The TT robot got a good workout and we had 5 teams of doubles battling it out. When the dust settled, the team of Anson Kwong and Tamara Chappell won the proceedings by virtue of their 11-9 in 5^th win over Tom Spesick and Jon Saunders.

ATTC Closed – Memorial Day Monday, May 27^th.

Auburn Table Tennis Club 8th Anniversary Celebration – Join us Monday May 13th for a Pizza night and doubles round robin. I’ll put teams together from all of the entrants and we’ll also have some open play and TT robot available. Free Pizza and Soda provided by ATTC. Normal playing rates apply. Doubles RR to start around 7:00 PM. We're hoping to see a bunch of our regulars and many friends from the past that haven't been to the club in a while as well as some new faces.
